Prerequisites for Enrolling Android, macOS, iOS, and iPadOS Devices in Microsoft Intune

  1. Set up an Apple ID for your organization
  2. Configure the MDM Push Certificate
  3. Create a Google Play account for your organization
  4. Set up Managed Google Play for Android enrollment

  • Set up an Apple ID for your organization

Sign in to the Intune portal, navigate to Devices, then select macOS. From there, choose Enrollment and click on Apple MDM Push Certificate.



To configure the MDM Push Certificate, you first need to agree to the Microsoft permissions, as shown in Step 1 of the provided image. After that, click on "Download your CSR." The final step involves clicking on "Create your MDM Push Certificate" which will redirect you to the Apple page.


  • Configure the MDM Push Certificate

After being redirected to the pop-up window, you’ll be prompted to sign in with an Apple ID. You should use your company's Apple ID, or you can create a new one if necessary.

On the page, click "Create a Certificate." Next, agree to the terms and conditions and click "Accept." Upload the CSR file you previously downloaded from the Intune portal. After that, click "Download" to obtain the Apple MDM Push Certificate.








Return to the Intune portal, enter your Apple ID in Step 4, and upload the Apple MDM Push Certificate in Step 5. Then, click "Upload."


Now you can see status: Active


You can now successfully enroll iOS, iPadOS, and macOS devices into Microsoft Intune !!

  • Create a Google Play account for your organization
Sign in to the Intune portal, navigate to Devices, then select Android. From there, choose Enrollment and click on Managed Google Play.


To configure the Managed Google Play, you first need to agree to the Microsoft permissions, as shown in Step 1 of the provided image. After that, click on "Launch Google to connect now" as shown in Step 2.

After being redirected to the pop-up window, you’ll be prompted to sign in with an Google work account. You should use your company's Google work account, or you can create a new one if necessary


Please provide consent on behalf of the organization by checking the box. Then, on the next page, complete the required information as shown in the image.


On the next page, ensure that "Android Enterprise" is included


Click "Agree and continue" to accept the Google agreements. Finally, select "Allow and create account" to integrate your account with Microsoft Intune for Android device management.

You will now be redirected to the Intune portal, where you'll see a green checkmark next to the status, indicating that you can now manage your Android devices using Microsoft Intune !!
